How much would a cab ride be from John Wayne airport in CA to Ritz Carlton in Laguna Beach, CA?
I think its like a 30 mile trip. I was just curious if it was cheaper than a shuttle.

The shuttle would probably be cheaper for a trip of that distance. Taxi rates in Orange County are regulated and all cab companies will charge $2.95 for the first 1/4 mile, and $0.65 for each additional 1/4 mile. That trip would cost about $65.00 each way by taxi. Shuttle vans would be about $25 each way at the most.
I hope you don’t expect Laguna Beach to actually be like it was portrayed on that silly MTV program (I can remember then all MTV did was play music videos). It’s a tiny town full of very wealthy senior citizens and a bunch of (stuck in the 60’s) Arts & Crafts crowd.
By the way, the Ritz Carlton is actually in Dana Point.
