Fingerpicking songs on the guitar?
I love learning songs with fingerpicking. I’ve learned Your Revolution is a Joke by Funeral for a Friend, and John Wayne Gacy, Jr. by Sufjan Stevens, among others but these are my favorites.
Does anyone who plays guitar know of any songs like these with fingerpicking, not too intense, but not too easy. Thanks!
Dust in the wind is a very good one & Don’t think twice its alright by Bob Dylan.
If you want to step things up a notch and really brush up on your finger picking skills give Classical Gas a try, that’s a tough one.

Come On Feel the Illinoise $8.85 Illinois sounds like The Sea and Cake collaborating with the high-school band from a Wes Anderson film on banjo-driven, pulsing meditations on Vince Guaraldi’s music for Peanuts. Sufjan Stevens, the singer-songwriter behind the endeavor, is an earnest and whimsical young man who aims to record an album based on every state in the union, though this is just his second attempt since 2003’s Michigan…. |
