If you’re talking about thoroughbreds (which I have to presume you are), because every modern thoroughbred can be traced back to just THREE stallions, it’s not surprising that they are highly strung and volatile creatures. Without wishing to get too bogged down in biological matters, they are very much inbred and quite a lot of them are quite temperamental as a result.
