Television always shows those ol western movies like this “rugged” characters were all tough and rode on a horse with their head held high.. is that what really happend? if i can remember correctly ppl who changed the economy of the west were like andrew carnegie (owned most steel indistry) I mean are these movie westerns incorrect and if so why make us think these “rugged” individuals saved the day and changed the economy of the west? thanks so much guys! best answer gets points!
Well I think the “rugged” equates to hard working which equates to Andrew Carnegie which equates to building america.
