Who says “hold it right there pilgrim” ?
It is from a movie from around the 90’s. It is not the John Wayne film. It is a film where I THINK the guy bought a gun, and says it in a weird accent. He might be trying out the gun…. I don’t know. The way he says it, the pilgrim is elongated slightly.
I’m dying to figure out what movie I heard this line from.

Also, it could be a variation of the phrase like “stop right there pilgrim” or “whatcha doing there pilgrim.”
IT WAS FULL METAL JACKET! YES, OH THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I heard that line in the movie Full Metal Jacket
