At Gooseneck State Park there is a scenic outlook where many old westerns were filmed. It is near Mexican Hat, Utah. In one John Wayne film, he throws a pint bottle of whiskey into the river from the outlook point. Name the movie.
“The Searchers” is my latest guess, but I still don’t trust my memory. I haven’t seen many of these films for quite awhile.
I see that “Fort Apache” did some filming there, but I can’t picture that scene in this film, as I can in “The Searchers”.
