I have an original brass plate from John Wayne’s car…?
Is it worth anything? Anyone have any suggestions where I might find the value and/or sell it? (besides eBay)
It reads:
“This Estate Wagon
designed and coach built exclusively for
MR. JOHN WAYNE
By Barris KUSTOM IND N. HOLLYWOOD CALIF”
I just have the plate from the estate wagon, not the vehicle itself.
And I know it is authentic!
Wow…your first task should be to find out what that went to, and find out if whoever now owns it, wants the original plate. Chances are, they will and will also pay top dollar for it. Try contacting Barris Kustoms and see if it can be traced. And thank George Barris for building the original Batmobile while your at it.
