Is the John Wayne .22 pistol & .44 Winchester rifle, expected to increase in value?
I have a friend who needs the money and wants to sell them to me, I was wondering what are they worth, they have been shot a few times. I was going to shoot a box or two a year

You do not provide enough identifiers on these “commemorative” firearms, but I will tell you thousands, if not millions have been made in the name of “John Wayne”, and there is still a market. Depending on which weapon and condition your firearms could be worth a few hundred to a few thousand dollars. Cabellas offers several John Wayne weapons under Collection and specialty firearms. Also, there are several being auctioned at http://www.ebang.com. You will find some at other sites. You need the model numbers and type of engraving to further establish value. If you get a good price, one thing for sure, they will not go down in value.
